What is inside
- Crafter Stretch Knit cover. A stretch knit cover quilted over the comfort layers, so the surface feels even and air moves through it.
- Visco memory foam. A slow response memory foam quilted into the top that moulds to your shape and eases pressure at the shoulders and hips.
- CrafterCore Plus convoluted foam. An egg crate profile foam under the memory foam. The peaks add cushioning and the channels let air move through the comfort layers.
- CrafterHD extra firm foam. A support foam under the comfort layers that works with the 2.4mm springs to keep the surface firm and flat.
- 7 zone CrafterCoil pocket springs. Heavy duty 2.4mm pocket springs in seven zones, with two rows of 2.4mm springs around the edge, for firm, even support right across the bed.

Will it feel as hard as a board?
No. A quilted top with memory foam and convoluted foam sits over a CrafterHD extra firm foam layer and the heavy-duty springs, so it is firm and supportive without the bare, boardy feel of a cheap hard mattress. You get a stable surface with just enough give to be comfortable night after night.
Will it sag like a cheap firm mattress?

It is compressed and rolled before it ships, which lets us ship it to you for free and get it through any doorway. You unroll it onto your bed base, let it breathe, and it expands to full size within a day. There is nothing to assemble.
