What is inside
- Quilted cover. The cover is quilted to the same standard as every mattress in the range, so the surface feels finished rather than simply wrapped.
- High density comfort layers. High density foam costs more to produce than standard foam because it holds its shape for years instead of softening within months, which is what lets us back it with the same fifteen year warranty as the rest of the range.
- TheraSeven zoned support springs. Seven support zones run under your spine so your hips do not sink further than your shoulders do, a level of tuning that comes from building under Therapedic Worldwide Licensed Technology.
How it feels
Medium. Medium, the balance of support and comfort that suits most sleepers
The Elevate Essential has a medium feel, with high density comfort layers over the TheraSeven zoned support system.
It is the entry point to the Therapedic range, built to the same fifteen year warranty as the rest.
Who it suits
Suits sleepers wanting targeted support and a firmness choice.
- Back support seekers
- Combination sleepers
- Anyone wanting a durable everyday mattress
- Anyone wanting a firmness choice at checkout

What the Elevate Essential price is paying for
The Elevate Essential is made to order in Australia under Therapedic Worldwide Licensed Technology, not shipped in from an overseas warehouse in a container of thousands of identical beds. Every mattress is made after you order it, using high density comfort foam and a seven zone TheraSeven spring system that cost more to produce than the single layer foam found in an entry level import. That is what a fifteen year warranty is being asked to cover.
Sold direct, below the recommended retail price, and every dollar of it goes into the build rather than a showroom lease.
Every Elevate Essential is made to order in Australia under Therapedic Worldwide Licensed Technology, and we back it with a 120 night comfort trial and a 15 year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Delivery
Delivery is free to metro areas. Outside metro areas a delivery fee may apply, and checkout shows it before you pay. Standard delivery time is between 2 and 12 business days, depending on your location and courier arrangements. For more details, please visit our Shipping Information Page.
How does the 120 night trial work?
Sleep on your mattress for up to 120 nights. We ask that you give it at least 30 nights so your body can adjust to a new sleep surface. If it still is not right for you between night 30 and night 120, start a return and we refund every dollar you paid for the mattress, with a flat $250 return fee for our courier to collect it in metro areas. Full details are in our Return Hub.*
Who pays for return shipping if I return my mattress?
You pay a flat $250 return fee when you book the pickup, and we cover whatever the courier charges above that. If your Crafterpedic mattress is not right for you between night 30 and night 120, we refund every dollar you paid for it, and nothing comes off your refund for delivery. Outside our metro areas we quote the pickup first.
How long does delivery take and is it free?
Delivery is free to metro areas. Outside metro areas a delivery fee may apply, and checkout shows it before you pay. Most orders arrive within 2 to 12 business days of dispatch, depending on your location.
Do I need a special base or foundation?
Our mattresses work on most bases including slatted bases, ensemble bases and adjustable bases. For slatted bases we recommend gaps no wider than 7cm so the mattress is evenly supported. A solid or sprung base is also fine.
How do I choose the right firmness?
The right feel comes down to your body weight and how you sleep. Side sleepers usually prefer a little more give through the shoulders and hips, while back and stomach sleepers tend to prefer firmer support. The Elevate Essential comes in Super Firm, Firm Support, Comfy Medium, Cushion Plush off the same build. If you are unsure, take our mattress quiz and we will point you to the best match.
Is there a smell when I unbox it?
A slight new-foam smell is normal when a boxed mattress is first opened and it is not harmful. Allow the mattress to air in a ventilated room and the smell dissipates within a few hours to a couple of days as it fully expands.
What does the 15 year warranty cover?
On a mattress, the 15 year warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Bed bases have a 12 year frame warranty and 6 year parts warranty. Normal wear, comfort preference and improper handling are not covered. See our warranty page for full terms.
*120 night comfort trial with a 30 night minimum. If the mattress is not right for you between night 30 and night 120, we refund every dollar you paid for it, with nothing deducted for delivery. A flat $250 return fee covers our courier collecting it in metro areas, and further out we quote the pickup first. See full trial terms
